Avoid At All Costs!
Make It Stop!
This is a very lame cd, with lazy lyrics, simplistic guitar playing, and not particularly good vocals, aside from Davis' great imitation of Howlin' Wolf. Alvin Youngblood Hart's song, "Maxwell Street Jimmy", is a lot more enjoyable than the real man and this album, which I bought for ten dollars. You'd be much better off with an album by Robert Nighthawk.
I am a rather eclectic human being. I enjoy classic foreign films and studying East Asian religions.
My life changed after listening to Led Zeppelin's BBC Sessions cd and going out and buying "Sleepy" John Estes and Muddy Waters records.
